Why is a debit/credit card requested when I book ?
Your bank details are required to confirm your online reservations unless special conditions are stated at the time of booking. This guarantees the reservation. The amount indicated will be charged by the hotel, on site, during your stay. Some reservations may require prepayment (see conditions of the reserved rate), which is performed by the hotel directly for all or part of your stay. Our completely secure reservation system means you can provide your details in complete confidence. For more information, see our Security section.
If you do not wish to provide your bank details online to guarantee your reservation, AccorHotels hotels allow you to do so via our reservation office.
Your bank details are needed to guarantee your reservation except where special conditions or rates apply, using a credit card or charge card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, etc.), by entering the card number without spaces, the expiration date (the card used must be valid at the time of the stay) and the card security code, in the relevant fields (secure entry by SSL encryption) as prepayment via the Ogone/Ingenico Payment Services.
You must arrive at the hotel with the credit/debit card that guaranteed the booking or was used for prepayment.
To find out more, please consult the payment methods in article 16, "Payment" of the terms and conditions of sale.
