1. Converting points into airline miles on demand

Le Club AccorHotels members must be members of the airline programme to which they intend to transfer Rewards points before this transfer is made. This transfer may be made only to the member's nominative air miles account.

Members may convert their Rewards points into air miles with the Le Club AccorHotels programme partners: Aeroplan (Air Canada), Asia Miles (Cathay Pacific), Avios, Club Premier (Aeromexico), Etihad Guest (Etihad), Executive Club (British Airways), Finnair Plus (Finnair), Flying Blue ( Air France KLM), Iberia Plus (Iberia), JetPrivilege (Jet Airways), KrisFlyer (Singapore Airlines), LifeMiles (Avianca Taca), Miles & More (Lufthansa), Miles&Smiles (Turkish Airlines), MilleMiglia (Alitalia), Multiplus Fidelidade (TAM Airlines), PhoenixMiles (Air China), Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways), Royal Orchid Plus (THAI Airways), SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines), SKYPASS (Korean Air), Skywards (Emirates Airlines), topbonus (airberlin), Victoria (TAP Portugal) and Velocity Frequent Flyer (Virgin Australia).

The minimum transferable amount for each of these airlines, the minimum level is 4,000 Rewards points per conversion, based on the following conversion rate:

  • 4,000 Rewards points = 2,000 miles, kilometres or air points;

There are 8 exceptions:

  • For Finnair Plus (Finnair), the conversion rate is 2,000 Rewards points = 2,000 Finnair Plus points.
  • For Iberia Plus (Iberia), the conversion rate is 3,000 Rewards points = 3,000 Avios points.
  • For Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways), the conversion rate is 4,000 Rewards points = 4,000 Qantas points.
  • For Velocity Frequent Flyer (Virgin Australia), the conversion rate is 4,000 Rewards points = 4,000 Velocity points.
  • For PhoenixMiles (Air China), the conversion rate is 4,000 Rewards points Rewards = 3 200 miles.
  • For Flying Blue (Air France KLM), the conversion rate is 2,000 Rewards points = 1,000 miles, with a maximum of 60,000 Rewards points converted per year and per carrier. The minimum number of points convertible is is 2,000 Rewards points.
  • For Skymiles (Delta Airlines), the maximum number of Rewards points convertible per year and per Le Club AccorHotels member is 250,000 Rewards points.

Members must request a conversion by connecting to their personal account in the "Manage my Le Club AccorHotels points" section. Information supplied by a member for filling out the point conversion form is the sole responsibility of the member. Members are not authorized to convert their Rewards points into air miles on behalf of another individual. A maximum of six weeks is necessary to carry out a transfer of points to the destination Frequent Flyer account. When Rewards points are converted into air miles, these air miles are subject to the general conditions of use corresponding to the company's loyalty programme.

Velocity membership and Points earn and redemption are subject to the Member Terms and Conditions, available at www.velocityfrequentflyer.com, as amended from time to time.

2. Automatic conversion into airline miles

Le Club AccorHotels members must be members of the airline programme to which they intend to automatically transfer Rewards points before this transfer is made. This transfer may be made only to the member's nominative air miles account.

Within the framework of these partnerships, Le Club AccorHotels allows loyalty programme cardholders to activate automatic conversion of their Rewards points into air miles through a specific link provided directly by the airline. Members must request a conversion by connecting to their personal account in the "Manage my Le Club AccorHotels points" section. Current or new members must choose "Option 2" on their Le Club AccorHotels customer profile and designate their air miles loyalty card as a "Master" card.

Automatic transfer without a lower limit will be activated when the member has earned at least two Rewards points for a stay in an AccorHotels hotel participating in the programme.

There are 5 exceptions:

  • For PhoenixMiles (Air China), automatic point conversion is triggered when 5 Rewards points have been earned.
  • For Finnair Plus (Finnair), automatic conversion takes place starting when the member earns 1 Le Club Rewards.
  • For Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways), automatic conversion takes place starting when the member earns 1 Le Club Rewards.
  • For Miles & More (Lufthansa), automatic point conversion is triggered when 1,000 Rewards points have been earned.
    Miles & More (Lufthansa) guarantees its members a minimum of 500 miles under certain conditions:
    • Minimum of 1 night stayed at Sofitel, Pullman, or MGallery per stay.
    • Minimum of 2 nights stayed at Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure, or Adagio per stay.
    • Minimum of 4 nights stayed at ibis or ibis styles/all seasons per stay.
  • Automatic conversion without threshold is not available for Club Premier (Aeromexico), Velocity Frequent Flyer (Virgin Australia) and SKYPASS (Korean Air).

The loyalty card number or Le Club Accorhotels member number must be provided when making the reservation, and must also be presented at the hotel reception desk upon check-in and check-out for the stay in question.

The member is solely responsible for the information that they provide on the conversion request form. The member is not allowed to convert their Rewards points into airline miles on behalf of any third-party. It may take up to 6 weeks for Rewards points to be transferred to the desired frequent flyer account. After Rewards points are converted into airline miles, said points are subject to the general terms and conditions of the airline loyalty programme in question.
