General terms and conditions related to airline company partners of the Le Club Accorhotels loyalty program

1. Converting points into airline miles on demand

The Le Club Accorhotels member must be a member of the airline miles program to which he/she wishes to transfer Le Club Accorhotels points. Said membership must be effective prior to ordering the transfer. Points transfer may only be made to the member's nominative airline miles account.

The member may convert his/her Le Club Accorhotels points into airline miles with airline company partners of the Le Club Accorhotels program: aeroplan (Air Canada), Asia Miles (Cathay Pacific), Avios, Club Premier (Aeromexico), Etihad Guest (Etihad), Executive Club (British Airways), Finnair Plus (Finnair), Flying Blue ( Air France KLM), Iberia Plus (Iberia), JetPrivilege (Jet Airways), KrisFlyer (Singapore Airlines), LifeMiles (Avianca Taca), Miles & More (Lufthansa), Miles&Smiles (Turkish Airlines), MilleMiglia (Alitalia), Multiplus Fidelidade (TAM Airlines), PhoenixMiles (Air China), Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways), Royal Orchid Plus (THAI Airways), SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines), Sky Pearl Club (China Southern), Skywards (Emirates Airlines), topbonus (airberlin) and Victoria (TAP Portugal).

The minimum transferable amount for each of these airline companies is 4,000 Le Club Accorhotels points per conversion, based on the following conversion rate:

  • 4,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 2,000 miles, kilometers, or airline points

There are 5 exceptions:

  • For Finnair Plus (Finnair) , the conversion rate is: 1 Le Club Accorhotels point = 1 Finnair Plus point
  • For Iberia Plus (Iberia) , the conversion rate is: 3,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 3,000 Avios points
  • For Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways), the conversion rate is: 4,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 4,000 airline miles.
  • For PhoenixMiles (Air China) and Sky Pearl Club (China Southern), the conversion rate is: 4,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 3,200 km.
  • tFor Flying Blue (Air France KLM), the minimum amount of Le Club Accorhotels points for conversion is 4,000 points, with a maximum of 60,000 Le Club Accorhotels points convertible per year, per cardholder, based on the following conversion rates:
    • 4,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 2,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 6,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 3,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 8,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 4,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 10,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 5,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 20,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 10,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 40,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 20,000 Flying Blue Miles.
    • 60,000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 30,000 Flying Blue Miles.

The member must request points conversion by connecting to his/her personal space on the Le Club Accorhotels web site, in the "Manage my Le Club Accorhotels points" section. The member is solely responsible for the information that he/she provides on the conversion request form. The member is not allowed to convert his/her Le Club Accorhotels points into airline miles on behalf of any third-party. It may take up to 6 weeks for Le Club Accorhotels points to be transferred to the desired frequent flyer account. After Le Club Accorhotels points are converted into airline miles, said points are subject to the general terms and conditions of the airline loyalty program in question.

2. Automatic conversion into airline miles

The Le Club Accorhotels member must be a member of the airline miles program to which he/she wishes to transfer Le Club Accorhotels points automatically. Said membership must be effective prior to ordering the transfer. Points transfer may only be made to the member's nominative airline miles account.

In the context of these partnerships, Le Club Accorhotels enables its loyalty card cardholder members to activate automatic conversion of their Le Club Accorhotels points into airline miles through a specific link offered directly by the airline company. The member must request points conversion by connecting to his/her personal space on the Le Club Accorhotels web site, in the “Manage my Le Club Accorhotels points" section. The member must select "option 2" in his/her Le Club Accorhotels member profile, and enter his/her airline loyalty card as "Master".

Automatic transfer, with no minimum amount, is activated as soon as the member has earned at least 2 Le Club Accorhotels points for a stay at one of the Accor hotels participating in the program.

There are 6 exceptions:

  • For PhoenixMiles (Air China), automatic conversion takes place starting when the member earns 5 Le Club Accorhotels points.
  • Miles & More (Lufthansa) guarantees its members a minimum of 500 miles under certain conditions:
    • Minimum of 1 night stayed at Sofitel, Pullman, or MGallery per stay.
    • Minimum of 2 nights stayed at Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure, or Adagio per stay.
    • Minimum of 4 nights stayed at ibis or ibis styles/all seasons per stay.
  • Automatic conversion is not available for the following airline companies: Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas Airways) and Multiplus Fidelidade (TAM Airlines).

The loyalty card number or Le Club Accorhotels member number must be provided when making the reservation, and must also be presented at the hotel reception desk upon check-in and check-out for the stay in question.

The member is solely responsible for the information that he/she provides on the conversion request form. The member is not allowed to convert his/her Le Club Accorhotels points into airline miles on behalf of any third-party. It may take up to 6 weeks for Le Club Accorhotels points to be transferred to the desired frequent flyer account. After Le Club Accorhotels points are converted into airline miles, said points are subject to the general terms and conditions of the airline loyalty program in question.
