The Palais Royal
Located on the doorstep of the Louvre Museum, the beautiful Palais Royal is home to the former private residence of the Cardinal Richelieu dating back to 1628, as well as galleries, a theatre and a picturesque garden decorated with fountains and sculptures. Seamlessly blending the old and the new, the Palais Royal also showcases contemporary art installations, including Daniel Buren’s famous black and white striped columns. Notable in-house landmarks and acclaimed venues include the Comédie-Française, the Palais-Royal theater, and the restaurant Le Grand Véfour.
